FAQ

Straight answers for first-timers through advanced riders planning a private Bentonville guided ride.

Who do you guide?

Personalized guided rides for first-timers, beginners, families, intermediate riders, and experienced mountain bikers. Advanced and jumps & features are available as options — not our whole identity. The ride is built around your group.

I’m a first-time Bentonville visitor — where should I start?

First Time in Bentonville is our recommended starting ride. Get oriented to the trail network, ride terrain matched to your ability, and finish knowing where you want to explore next. Same duration pricing as any other private ride. Not sure? Request a Ride and we’ll help.

Are you a coaching or skills clinic?

No. We’re a guided-ride service, not a skills school. We’ll share tips and local insights on the trail, but we don’t run drills or structured lessons. If you want formal coaching, we’ll point you to great local clinics.

How does pricing work?

Pricing is by duration, not trail difficulty:

  • 2-Hour Private Ride — $149 includes up to 2 riders · +$35 each additional
  • 3-Hour Private Ride — $199 includes up to 2 riders · +$45 each additional
  • Longer / customRequest a Ride for a clear quote
What kinds of rides can you shape?

Named vibes for the same private product — First Time in Bentonville, Beginner / Easygoing, Intermediate Adventure, Advanced, Jumps & Features, and Family / Mixed Group. They’re not separately priced; tell us what sounds fun (or Not sure) and we’ll build the route. See Rides for detail.

How do I request a ride?

Use the short Request a Ride form — no payment is required to request. Tell us your preferred date, group size, experience level, and what kind of ride sounds best. We’ll follow up personally to confirm availability and make sure the ride is a good fit.

There is no live calendar on the site. Have a specific day in mind? Tell us — we’ll confirm what’s possible.

How do deposits and payment work?

Once we confirm your ride, a deposit will secure your reservation. The remaining balance is due before your ride.

You’ll get a secure Stripe payment link after we confirm (sent manually — not checkout on this site). Deposits are typically requested about 24 hours before your ride; for last-minute requests we may ask for full payment when we confirm.

Venmo or cash available as a fallback if needed.

What if my preferred time isn’t available?

Tell us your preferred date and whether morning, afternoon, or flexible works. If that slot isn’t available, we’ll suggest nearby options that still fit your trip.

Can we ride with mixed skill levels?

Yes. Family / Mixed Group rides are designed for that. Choose Mixed group on the form and tell us who’s in the party — we’ll plan route and pace so everyone can have a good ride.

Do you guide e-bikes / e-MTBs?

Yes. E-MTBs are welcome and great if you want more laps or a little help on climbs. Mention it in your request so we can match trails and pace.

Do I need to sign a waiver?

Yes. Every rider completes a short digital waiver before the ride (usually under two minutes). Link comes after the ride is confirmed.

What kind of bike should I bring? Do you rent bikes?

Bring the bike you’re most comfortable on. A quality trail or enduro bike is ideal for most NWA riding; e-MTBs are great if you want more laps.

We don’t rent bikes ourselves — find Bentonville rental options with BikeWhip, then we’ll match trails to that bike.

How many riders can join?

Solo and pairs get the most customized ride; larger groups work too. Base price includes up to 2 riders, with a per-rider add-on beyond that. Tell us your group size when you request a ride.

What should I bring?

Helmet (required), pads/gloves you like, water, snacks, charged e-MTB battery if applicable, and a good attitude.

What if it rains or trails are wet?

We respect the trails — if we’d leave tracks, we don’t ride. We’ll shift to drier options when possible, or reschedule/cancel with no hassle.

Where do we meet?

Typically Slaughter Pen — A Street Parking Lot, unless we agree on another spot that fits your ride.

Is media / photo-video required?

No. Capture is an optional add-on only:

  • Quick Media Add-On — $49 — During-ride clips + a handful of trail photos; light cull; shared folder within ~48 hours. Not a produced film.
  • Highlight Package — $149 — ~60–90 second edited highlight + up to 10 edited stills; delivered in ~5–7 days. Scoped production — not unlimited revisions.

The ride stands alone.

Why ride with a local guide?

So you spend the day riding the right Bentonville trails for your group — not guessing. Local knowledge, your pace, less planning stress.
